| About Me I decided to make this page to tell you a little about myself and how I got into breeding dogs. I live in a rural area on 10 acres of land. I have two boys (11 & 7) and work as a nursing aide at a local hospital. I started out with Pugs in 2002, which I still own and breed today. My first one was a Pug from a pet store. I was younger and didn't know any better and this poor little thing looked so sad sitting in that cage of his. I purchased him and took him home! He was a bundle of energy and I loved how the breed was great with my kids and even being a smaller breed, very rugged as well. I found out at a couple years of age he had Epilepsy. I then decided I would like show and raise them to provide quality puppies to people so they wouldn't have to go threw the heart ache you endure from getting a sick dog from a pet store. I mostly breed for myself but do have puppies to pet homes at times. I will never again buy a puppy from a pet store. Its the worst thing you could do since most of their puppies come from puppy millers. Please look into your local animal shelter rescue organization or a reputable breeder for a puppy/dog. From showing my Pugs in AKC events I noticed in the ring next to me was Frenchies. I was naturally drawn to them because of there cute ears and nub tail and the bonus, they acted just like Pugs! They are bred for one thing. Companionship! They are clown like in nature and stubborn as heck and good dogs all around :-) I'm also in love with all the fancy colors they come in. Pugs are just two colors, Fawn and Black. I have since started showing my Frenchies and always aim to better the breed with each passing litter. I also have a couple of pets besides who we breed at home. Two being spayed Pugs and a large breed 10 yr old mix named Bear, One DSH cat and some chickens, I have always loved animals as a child and told everyone I wanted to be a vet someday. Well that never happened but I still continue to share my life with my animals. I also do rescue when I can and donate to local rescue organizations. That's just a little about me and what I'm about. I hope that you enjoy my website. |
